Alia is a 4 year old female who was rescued from South Carolina on a Pilots & Paws flight. She escaped from a puppy mill, she was hit by a car and had a broken pelvis but still delivered her puppies normally that she was carrying. She was also found to be heartworm positive so she is currently going through heartworm treatment now that she has left her puppies.  Alia is a bit shy as most puppy mill dogs are. She is learning to walk on a leash and be a normal dog. She's a good mom but it's time for her health to be taken care of.  She will be spayed  before she leaves rescue after she has completed her heartworm treatment.   Alia may be ready to leave rescue around November 1st. Alia's  owner must be willing to take her through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. Proof of enrollment in a dog obedience is required before/at the adoption. If you would like to be considered to adopt  Alia, you must first apply. Winston has been adopted! To see his adoption photo, go to  Happy Endings in 2014.  Winston is a beautiful black male who is 7 years old. His owner could no longer take care of him. He's shy and scared when he meets new people but he's a sweet boy. He's not real used to a leash so he needs a little work. Winston's  owner must be willing to take him through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. She is 2 years old.  Her owner could not take care of her anymore. Carmen is current on her vaccines, she is spayed.  Carmen is learning to walk on a leash.  Carmen's  owner must be willing to take her through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. Ava is a cute 7 year old spayed female. Her owner could not take care of her anymore. . Oliver is a cute 7 year old neutered male. His owner could not take care of him anymore.     Schatzi is a shy 7 year old spayed female. Her owner could not take care of her anymore. Schnatzi enjoys walks, she gets along with cats. Schatzi does not do well with young children.     Kym and Keenan are a bonded pair (brother and sister) that have been together their whole lives. Their owner died and there was no one to take care of them. They are both 8 years old, spayed and neutered, current on their vaccines. A basic dog obedience class is recommended..
